The purpose of the vertical ignition burner is to raise the kiln temperature to the desired firing temperature. This burner is considered very fast because of  the high speed output of the flame / gases which cause a swirl within the kiln , thereby homogenizing the temperature in the kiln  preheating zone.

In this type of burner, the air/gas mixture is made through a modulating  system that allows to regulate the power required while maintaining the mixture air / gas, the combustion of the mixture is made continuously and  occurs in the nozzle.

The burner has a wide operating spectrum, it work from room temperature up to the nominal operating temperature (900ºC), which requires the existence of an ignition system and a flame detection system for security.

When the burner is operating in automatic mode, if the temperature is below of the requested and is detected the absence of flame, there is an automatic re-ignition. In case of failure, the gas supply to the burner is interrupted and gives rise to a warning sign.
